Jim - Royalton Music Center

Gabe, I wanted to take a moment and say thank you again for helping me in my acquiring of that amazing Taylor yesterday. My search for a new guitar has taken me to pretty much all of the independent music stores in the area over the last few months, but I kept finding my way back to Larry's and your stock of Taylor's. Since Megan and I attended the road show event you guys put on last fall, we have made a few trips back to your store, and have very much appreciated the courtesy you and your staff has shown us with each visit. If there is anything that we can do for you in the future, please do not hesitate to ask.

I would like to say thanks to the folks at Larrys Music center! I live in Virginia, and I am very hesitant to purchase guitars without trying them first in person. I was gassing for the Alvarez ABT60E. The new baritone guitar, with pickup. I can not afford the Taylor by any means. But really wanted an acoustic baritone. I was skepical about buying a mid entry guitar. Gabriel answered all my questions patiently, without giving me the idea he was waiting for a sale. A few other online places had them for sale, not many. I called and spoke with gabriel{who is a great guy , by the way}, and he eased my mind about the ordering and shipping process. He personally picked out a abt60e, gave it a good looking over that included working the nut and truss. After sitting in my house for a few days, it plays great! rnrn So, if you have a need for a baritone acoustic, which everyone does, you just havent played one yet, this will fit the bill. Through a Bose Compact system, it shakes the pictures on the wall. You can play the same songs in the same positions on this, and they have completly new meaning! Its great for guys and gals with a lower register voice. I would not be embarrassed to gig with this. rnrnAnd if you need a great priced acoustic baritone, get it from Larry\'s Music Center!

Gabriel, I wanted to tell you how much I've been enjoying the Alvarez baritone guitar, and how much I appreciated the personal service from you guys. I've been too busy playing it to e-mail! -online customer

I just gotta share with you. With all the teaching that Rikki is receiving from Ryan. He has really came a long way and has started now picking up songs all by himself with Ryan's teaching of how to read sheet music and to listen by ear. Rikki heard Enter Sandman for the first time ever yesterday and started playing some of the chords. That blew my mind. I am so happy to have Ryan as his teacher to help Rikki reach for the stars and to reach his full potential. I really can't thank Ryan enough for his teaching.

Great article about Jeff Lindberg. Thanks! I play cello in the WSO and would like to suggest Terry Ling for an article. She just turned 90 and started playing cello with the orchestra in the 50's. Her husband was Stuart Ling who was a BIGWIG in the COW music department. The two of them would make for great reading! Thank you, Ann Gregor

Your video is what did it for me. I have owned several more expensive baritones in the past, and I was skeptical of the tone given the price. However, it sounds much like my olde yairi yb1 baritone, and at a mere fraction. I am very excited, and thank you again for making this easy!

Paul (internet customer)

Thanks so much for your speedy and efficient service. Excellent job.

Recently purchased a Taylor NS24CE from Larry's using their website and I have to say the entire experience was great! The before and after sales service in this store is phenomenal. Gabriel, who I mainly dealt with before and after receiving the guitar, went above and beyond customer service in my opinion. It's nice to see that in this age of electronic commerce some people still know how to interact with customers in a "human" fashion. In addition, I had the opportunity to make it to the store this past weekend to have the new guitar "tweaked" and again, the service was nothing less than impressive. The Taylor was set up superbly, and am sure the servicing being done on an Ibanez electric will follow suit. Thanks to all and especially to Gabriel for being patient with my harassment! :)

Excellent customer service by Brad and Gabriel when my Martin guitar needed neck repair. The problem was remedied promptly and courteously with patient attention to my explanation of the guitar's repair concerns. I'm very satisfied with my Larry's Music experience. - Bill Gokee, Massillon

Gabe – Thanks again for the excellent and quick work you did on my Taylor 310 on Friday! I was pleasantly surprised at how well you cleaned up that previously filthy instrument. That was the best $25 I’ve ever spent. The guitar looks and sounds great , and I really like the sound of the Elixir strings. I don’t get down to Wooster very often, but I will definitely come back to Larry’s Music if I’m in town and need strings, accessories or service, or if I’m in the market for a new guitar. Please pass along my thanks to Larry, too. You guys and the store are awesome! Regards, Keith Reichley Cleveland, OH (via email)

Me and a buddy of mine stopped in to your shop on our way home one day, and we're both begining guitarist, and we were really pleased with your service. A nice gentleman with black hair and a black beard approached us, after looking at the photos of you employees i want to say it was brad shreve, greeted us with a smile and told us if we wanted to play anything or if we wanted HIM to play anything to let him know. I thought that was pretty cool because we can't play to great and in order to truly hear the great sound of a guitar it's always nice to hear someone who plays and knows about the pickups and everything play it. We took him up on his offer to hear him play a guitar my friend was interested in and just to hear him play was a sight in itself, but he explained that specific guitar to us very very well and he didn't make us feel like we were stupid for not playing much. it was just like talking to one of your friends it seemed. He was very helpful and it was customer service at it's finest. All the other music stores i've been to or stores in general i haven't gotten that kind of service. it was great service at it's finest and i'll definitely be back in again. I live out in shiloh and i'd much rather take the drive to your place than any other places closer. Thank you again

I have been a patron of Larry's Music since the beginning. I can remember renting band instruments in high school and buying all my clarinet and piano music/books. Then when my kids got into music, again Larry's was the place we went. As I expanded my own guitar and songwriting career I basically moved into Larry's. :-) They have outfitted me with guitars and beaucoup home recording equipment. They have a great selection, great service and knowledgable staff!

Gabe - Just wanted to say thank you for the help picking out the Taylor guitar last Thursday evening. I played and led worship service on Sunday morning for the first time at our church in Orrville, and the Taylor guitar sounded fantastic. What a confidence booster it was to have perfect signal for the sound system (no direct box). Very much appreciated the info and expert advice regarding the guitar purchase. I'll keep you updated on experiences throughout the guitar journey. - Todd Bradford, Orrville

I guess you guys are all right

I practically live at Larry's! There isn't anywhere else to go (other places have jerks who work there...all off the people at Larry's are actually nice and actually care...just sayin').

Larry’s has to be one of the best music stores I’ve ever been in. All the employees here are personable, knowledgeable and are nothing but helpful. From showing you how to restring a guitar, to picking the perfect teacher to study with, or asking about pickups, tuners, what kind of guitar would work for what, what this does, how Taylor’s new pickups work (I’ve heard the story at least twice now, Gabriel xD), this store is just...great. I wouldn’t imagine going anywhere else. A store like this is how music should be, rather than the corporate world that so many bigger stores get sucked into. I, and everybody in the family has literally bought one instrument somewhere else since we’ve been here, simply because I found a sweet deal on my dream guitar. Larry’s is an amazing place. Thank you!
