Lessons FAQ

Lessons FAQ

When are lessons taught?

Weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays depending on teacher availability.

How long are lessons?

Our lessons are once per week half hour one-on-one private sessions.

How long do I have to commit for?

Our lessons are on a month to month basis.

Do you offer group lessons?

Our teachers are dedicated to helping you learn your desired instrument and to progressing you along as quickly as possible.  Because of this and the limited size of our lesson rooms, we do not offer group lessons at this time.

Can parents accompany students into their lesson?

Our lessons are designed to be one-on-one and it's more conducive to the learning experience to keep the student the focus of the lessons, and keep any outside distractions down to a minimum.  We do provide a very nice waiting area with comfortable seating and cable tv.

What is the teacher cancels or store is closed?

Students are never billed for holidays on which our store is closed.  If the store closes due to weather or other circumstances, you will be credited by the store for the lesson.  If your teacher cancels, which is very rare, they will offer you a make up lesson or credit you for the lesson. Our lessons do not follow school cancellations or holiday schedules.

What if the student cancels?

Missed lessons are non-refundable.  If you know you'll be absent ahead of time and give your teacher at least 24 hours notice, he or she may offer you a make up lesson if their schedule permits.

How much do lessons cost?

Lessons are scheduled at $15 per appointment, payable by monthly tuition.  Your reserved appointment time with your private instructor is guaranteed to be here waiting for you each week.
